designQT-basic is a visual editor for relational algebra query trees. Users place relations and operators on a canvas, connect them and add predicates to operators.
Designed for database courses, it gives students the building blocks to construct their own query trees and helps teachers prepare exercises and solutions.
Its purpose is drawing: it does not define or validate relation schemas, check tree structure, or execute queries. The construction and correctness of each query are left to the user.
